    I had to go to plan B saturday. Planned on fishing palarm creek but that think was rolling. They must have had every gate open. Finally found a few crappie in a backwater spot on the river but had to finish out the mess with bass. Crappie were in 3 to 6 on a rip rap bank. Bit a red or chart 1/8 crappie magnet jighead with a minnow. Lost another good slab and a couple smaller ones. I don't normally use that setup, is the jighead easier for fish to throw?

    I use jigs all the time. On heavier jigs they seem to shake it free if they ever get any slack many times. Some days they just bite light and results in poor hook ups.
