Default Info on Maddox Bay/Refuge Lakes

My dad and I are looking to do a 2 night stay, 3-day fishing trip in the next week or so and I would love to go stay at Maddox and fish some of our favorite lakes off the bay. Dad says its all flooded and not worth the trip. Is he right? Any reports on water conditions and fishing would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Best fishing I ever seen in my life was two years ago, the water was up (25.7 at Clarendon). Just call before you go and make sure the roads are still open.

Fished that bottom all my life. I'd let the river at Clarendon get down to 15 or below.
    Tell'em I'll be there.
