    Don't think I am hijacking this thread but I was going to put in my .02. By far the best cooker there is. We use the 4 gallon one here at the shop. Yesterday I cooked for 15 and nobody had to wait. The oil you save will pay for the cooker over the life of the filter. I wouldn't use it for turkey though. A buddy has a 8 or 9 gallon one and it gets pricey to fill up. You can't go wrong

    I was wrong about the brand of my cooker it is a bayou classic and it stainless steel. Sorry for the bad info. I bought it at Chapel Hardware in Pine Bluff for $250 there phone # is 870-879-2570

    I've got the 4 gal and love it!! Got it at Ft. Thompson for 379.99 with rolling cart. This thing is a cooking machine!! One jug of clear cooking oil at Sam's will fill it up and only cost $21.Name:  photo 1.jpg

    Nope! Just close the lid and wait till next time! I did get a cover for mine for a whopping 99 cents at the dollar store. I get 18 cooks on the oil before change. Just filter about every 5 or 6 cooks. I use automotive paint strainers to filter.

    Yessir it does!! Got it for Christmas and only used twice. Will hopefully get a lot of use with some warmer weather soon!
