Strip I don't know the lake but I would bet the water temp is somewhere in the 42-45 range. Look deep and radar main creek channels or the dam area of your lake and find the fish masses if you can find good life on your radar (fish it) and fish close to the bottom. If its not to snaggy double minnow rigs is a great winter search tool or a single minnow rig if it is snaggy. If you start catching a few try giving em a jig or two if you like vertical jigging, or incorporate jigs into your spider rig set up. Good Luck To ya and I hope you catch a mess.

Was over there Saturday and caught 32 on black and chart. Dead on the bottom in 14 fow good luck. You fishing the Poteau or the Fouche? We were on the Fouche

I got on the water at 9:30 by 10:00 I had 8 in the boat. Bad thing is, I left at 3:00 and only had 8. They just shut off and I couldn't buy a bite after about 10:00. the 8 I caught were my first ever winter crappie and were my first for spider rigging. I went to the Poteau. Guess I should have went to the Fouche. I was using black and Chartreuse and minnows. Never got a fish on a minnow. had a great time. thanks for the tips.
