    do any of you guys fish for crappie at bayou meta in furlow if so do you guys ever have any luck how do you like to fish it I've only catfished there so any help will greatly be appreciated

    I've heard Bayou Meto has good fishing but even after given the OK , worry about Dioxin containation.

    I not eating anything out of there or anything connected to it. Vertex was a bad thing in it heyday. I seen some deer that look like they glowed.

    I grew up about a 1/4 mile from bayou meto between jacksonville and furlow, we wern't allowed as kids to go near it. but we did go there and could shoot gar with our 22's for hours. There seemed to be an endless supply of them.

    I live on bayou Meto. Some of the locals fish it and catch em pretty good. I dont fish it and between Vertac and the other run off wouldnt easy thing out of it.
