Pictures don't do them justice. They are the best built best thought out rod holders ever made. They are fantastic for pulling cranks, should work excellent for Longlining and are perfect for spider rigging. The adjustments are so smooth and easy to make and once made stay where they are set. No tool adjustment and no over tightening to stay put. If your like me and at the age where Arthur is making your grip not what it used to be they are a blessing. Also sturdy enough for those Cat and Striper guys who target larger fish with heavier equipment. E Z hit a bases loaded home run with these. Great review and pictures JW.

I like the ease of adjustment on them, but they do take up more space than the Hitek holders. They're on my boat now, but knowing what I know now, don't know that I'd have changed.

They are bigger than hi tek but the flexibility is far superior.

We got ours! I am really impressed and they're not on the boat yet. Trying to get up front seating ironed out before we mount the bases.

Like I said, I like the way they adjust. I'm going to stick with them. Just taking a while to get used t them. I've been using Hiteks for a number of years.
