    Default Hot Springs Village lakes?

Does anyone fish the lake inside Hit Springs Village? I'm looking at a possible move to the area, and those smaller lakes make HSV very appealing.

I did years ago when I had a lot over there. They're is some good fishing over there. Wish I would have known about spider rigging back then.

The little lakes have real good bream fishing, and crappie.

Have not been back over in years.

Never fished them but several told me they have some big fish swimming there.

Was there on vacation with a property owner many years ago (1998). Don't know about crappie, but there were plenty of bass. The water was very clear, but we caught quite a few after dark.

I'm not 100% sure that I want to live in HSV, so the plan is to rent a place there, preferrably a lakefront house, to see if we like it.

I also like the proximity to Lake Ouachita.

You might like Lake Dardanelle area . That is one heck of a fishery no matter which warm water species you like. It is loaded with Bass , Crappie, Catfish just to name a few.

I'm not retiring just yet <G> ... I need to be in the Hot Springs area for work.

Just not sure if I want to be in Hot Springs or Hot Springs Village.

I've traded a few messages with him. Where are you moving from? Retired?

I am in Hot Springs right now, working. I stopped on my way up here this afternoon and wet a line in Greeson. Lots of little bass followed my lure, but they didn't want to bite.
