    Default Dardanelle is Heating Up

Well guys I launched the boat from one of the many boat ramps on the Illinois Bayou and never had to even start the big motor and caught 35 nice crappie...Mostly off just two brush piles. I fished from 1PM to Dark, White and Chart tubes and Meatgetter 1/8th oz tipping with a nibble. The brush was on a drop off in 7-12 feet deep Here is 20 I kept and I released some nice ones for camp. Lots of fish are also being caught on the banks from 2-10 feet deep. Lets Go Get Em Guys, Gals, Children. The bite is turning ON!!! on Dardanelle. Water Temp 62 degrees

Thanks for the post CP! Went there today
spent the first 3 hours on the water just looking for brush and checking out the lake, never fished it in the spring only a few times in the winter this year, started fishing about 10:00 and only caught 6 but learned a few things and a few more days hopefully can put something together, spoke with nimrod and seen rtart and xring as well, will be there Tuesday night looking forward to this week and crappie camp! See ya there!!

Thanks Russ for sharing your info for all of us that are not familiar with Dardanelle to give us a chance at finding some fish at Camp.
