    Default Is Island 40 chute open?


    Wanting to know if anyone knows if Island 40 is open or has been to chute? I use to fish with my dad 8 Years ago before a tour of duty in the Air Force.

    I thought Island 40 was closed to the public now. Maybe someone can confirm this. Don't know about chute.

    RCC thanks. That really blows not many public places left these days. I just found out Lake View south of MEM was also shut down to public.

    Island 40 (Dailys Boat Dock) is closed. The last flood really took a toll on the Owner of the boat ramp. He has moved away from the levee.

    Bvoloti, do you fish Reelfoot? What about Cold Lake or Chissom? Chissom should be good now. The river is 5 foot out of it and I think that holds true for Cold Lake also.
