Thread: Conway Main Lake

Gettin' caught in a lightning storm is about the only reason I can think of to be in a big hurry to get somewhere on that lake.

a-men thought the 15hp rule was good on that lake , been close to being capsized by a guy flying by one time after the motor size was lefted and aint been back

good morning CJ do you fish gold creek, if so what's the best way to fish it, have not had much luck on it, but can anyone give me info on just fishing conway live in morgan so it near me, can use any info, thanks.

For info on Gold Creek, Crappie Pro is your man. It is hit and miss for me there. My fishing is more consistent and better quality fish on the main lake. Send me a pm if I can help you there. Best advice I can give on Gold Creek is watch the locals and ask questions. Most of them are friendly and willing to help.

Hi Crappie Pete Welcome from NLR Conway always been a hit or miss for me too. There are some that hit the jackpot every time there and other that are like me just feeding the ride.

If you ever run into anyone who knows me they will tell you there ain't many people who knows lake Conway the way I do, the regular boat trails are there for people to follow, I know where the old original boat trails are, and spot lights at night are not needed, I can run Conway in the dark without worries. I have been dedicated to lake Conway for over 30 years, I am a fourth generation lake Conway fisherman and the knowledge that the last three generations have and had was passed to me. So I know lake Conway. I can tell you where most every stump is in any boat lane.
