We put those out to give the riggers something to hang on Jerry. Plenty of stumps here but put enough stuff out to spread out the fish to make it more challenge'n. Otherwise they tend to suspend in open water alot.

Ronnie said always use minnows when you spider rig.

Jerry it's scary how many fish the river has produced and only 10 min from the house. I just started trying the brush tops. They haven't produced much yet but I hope they will. I have learned to single pole and spider the river here. Threatened to try minners a time or too when I got off the fish but didnt give in just kept fishing new places. Not much I don't know about it now. I hope my 100 tops me and a friend put out will produce.

I'm just up the road a piece, give me a call, I'll help you sink some. As long as I can go fish them also. Used to catfish in at the mouth of the harbor 3-4 days a week.
