    Went a few weeks ago and caught a few. The gar and rough fish r horrible there. By now the crappie probally have ticks on them ! Its really bad low , had to run in shallow drive just to get back to the bay.

    I talked to a commercial fisherman I know yesterday, and he said he had caught 15,000 pounds of rough fish there which tells me it's probably very low.

    Dang, couple months ago when I had the chance to get over there the water was too high! I actually own one of the house trailers there, and mainly use it for duck hunting, but one of the older guys we hunt with fishes it a good bit

    Talked to the owner of the ramp 2 days ago and he said some guys were catching good numbers of crappie trolling the middle. Very low right now.

    We tried it last weekend with only a few keepers. Bite was bad slow and gar was plenty!

    I was there the other day catfishing the river. Rode in there and kicked mud up big time. The gar can really do some damage there.
