Default Holiday Lake - 95 Crappie

Scott Black wrote to LFT Lures - I caught 95 crappie in 3.5 hours spider rigging the LFT's black pearl "Live" Baby Shad on burnt red crappie pro jig head. They were caught on Holiday Lake, located in central Arkansas. Water was 61 degrees and the fish were caught in about 6 feet of water. The larger of the 2 fish weighed in at 2lb 6oz and the male was 2lb 2 oz. It was a great day on the water.

Sounds like a very busy fishing trip and some excellent SLABS caught. Wished there was someone local I could buy those lures from so I could give them a first hand go. Guess I'll just have to stick with what I can get though (southern Pro hot grub look alikes). Thanks for sharing the report and picture.

Nice catch! There is a holiday lake in northern Conway county we use to crappie fish in its a small private lake! Use to catch some good fish there!
