Better watch that thump can be addictive.
Had the day off so I heeded to lake. Got on the water at 6:30 and stated scanning for new piles. After marking several I started fishing the more promising looking ones in 8 to 10 fow trolling minnows. After caching a few fish on the outside of this one top I broke out the jig pole and started pulling some nice fish out of the branches and the pattern was set. Work the edges with the double minnow rig and then finish it off with the jig pole! I've been so caught up in spider rigging I just forgot about the ol jig pole. The single pole tournament last weekend was my inspiration and thank you CP for the report that midsouth 812 tipped with a minnow was the bait they wanted!

AWESOME JOB! Im lacking in the single pole skills. May have to give it more of a chance.
Nice haul Fosh ! Nimrod got me hooked on the single pole and sometimes two poles, but still like pulling cranks and spider rig.

Jig em
Good catch fosh.
Foshin em up!
LP it's a great tool in the arsenal that I've been overlooking but not anymore when the fish are holding tight in the bigger tops it's the way to go. Nimrod is right on the money with the thump it's definitely addicting. Working your way through the branches gives you a better ideal of what's going on down there and then the THUMP!!!
fosh
Nice fish
