The Dark Angel, Preparing for Battle

The Dark Angel at battle trolling 35 feet deep with minnows, she would watch over 100 keeper crappie and three beautiful blue cats cross her bow in two days of fishing.

Some Of the better fish Don/AKA Conway and his partners caught, you can bet that after both of us cleaning 200 crappies we were a little tuckered out.


My uncle with one of over 100 crappie in two days, my Dad and myself had a blast watching the Dark Angel do her thing.

The catch from the first evening ended up with 50 and also caught a 8 lb blue. The second day we had a triple limit with two more blue cats that were 4-5 lbs apiece. Both cats hit me and my uncles poles and we had a blue cat double. That was fun.

That's what I'm saying! Yall ever use jigs or always minnows? Blue or channels either way that size on crappie equipment would be a tussle to say the least Nimrod.
