    Default Heat

What ever happen to spring? We have the spring wind blowing but it is already steaming hot. What will this do to the fish? Push them back deeper quicker?

Spring? What spring? Never remember having one in Arkansas. :D

As far as the fish..... it's something different all of the time. Hardly ever see the same thing two hours apart, much less a day difference.

I'm more concerned about the lack of precipitation. The lakes came up in March, but the past week should have been as wet or wetter and yet it is almost like August or July.

Man was it hot and windy today ! Still kept 12 today with 2 over 14''. Taking a green horn green carp fisherman tomarrow . We suppose to have cooler weather . Please let it rain , my garden is desperate for water.
Wish me luck tutor'n a green carp fisherman on the finer points of jigg'n for crappie . Last spring I took some green carp fishermen , crappie fish'n. They were from a local boat manufacturing company. After they yanked 3 or 4 over the boat out of 12' water , we bass fished the rest of the day. They are still talking about their fish and the trip. Now we stick to bass or cats when I take them guys fishing ! .

Lots of folks don't understand when you tell them that there's an ART to jiggin, that's until they see you do it.

    Default jig tutor

Well we brought in 19 crappie and 6 were 13 '' to 14.5 ''. The boy only caught 1 of the larger fish. Talked so much it was hard to concentrate on jig. We were fishing 9' to 12 ' deep and wind made jig contact difficult at times. Atleast it was cooler than the last two. :D
