you can't beat the taste of the fried crappie fillets, keep whack en em, got to get them when the gettings good, I share allot of fillets myself so I know how that works, if you got fish there is always someone willing to take a few off your hands at anytime. The new rods look good in the packages still, I ain't had a chance to get them out to the water yet, I got two 11 footers and one 8 footer. Thanks for turning me on to them. Are you catching tour fish on a tight line or are you getting them casting? Keep showing them crappie who the pro is.

Kerry I am whacking them vertically in shallow water cover, but have caught some deeper and talked to some who are fishing deep vertically over the cover you put in last year. Get those new Ozark Rods out of the packages and get to whacking em man. Youll love em. They are one tough light rod and CrappiePro approved My Friend. See you soon brother.

When I say shallow I am talking 2-3 feet of line hanging off an 11 foot jigpole. Dipping in and around bank cover. Always keep ur rod tip just about 6 inches or less above the surface of the water. Allot of times they hit before the jig settles. There is nothing like a 13-17 incher exploding out of one-two foot of water. It's the kind of thing that makes men lose their wifes over. It can be that addicting. LOL
