    Default "SAME" Oxbow lake Tuesday

Passed LUVPT going in when I was coming out with a box-o-crappie again. Maybe he'll post on here what the bite did this afternoon. Also, nice to have met MEATGETTER on the water. Great to see him catching those fish! I quit at 10:45 AM with 41. Better size fish than yesterday. Kept too many again but just couldn't make myself quit with a lesser number. It's really too many to clean!! But, oh well! I'll try to show more restraint tomorrow! Maybe.

It was apparently a morning bite today. J.W. and I fished from 12:30 till 5:15 and kept 20 real good ones. We tried longlining off the back plus spider rigging from the front, we tried fast, slow, in-between, all the colors of the rainbow, deep, shallow, you name it and we tried it. I think we even did a little begging! By 4:00 it was just us and one other boat....everyone else had quit and gone to the house. They started out biting pretty well and we thought we were gonna hammer'em hard but the bite tapered off gradually to just one every once in a while. Better get it while you can! I can't go back over there till the weekend but plan on working on them again come Saturday! I can't wait till Lee gets right!
