copper head with a black head is a Hognose. Looks like a copperhead, but non-venomous. Also called a spreading nator.
You Can Make a Difference!
ifin ya around water, its just a diamond back water snake, ifin you aint round water, best i can tell from the picture it will be a puff/spread atter, also commonly called a hognose snake, either way it was a harmless snake, except for the fear factor.
You can't beat the taste of them ole fried SLABS N TATERS!!
There are 2 kinds of snakes. Anaconda's and Rattlesnakes. It ain't big enough for an Anaconda so it's a Rattlesnake.
Yard Dog's correct
It's a spreading nator, or spreading adder. Say both names quickly and they sound similar. Somewhere along the way the spelling got messed up. Most call it a spreading nator around here. It's also known as a puff adder or hog nosed.
although the color looks similar to a venomous snake the head says non venomous. I thought spread Nators (how ever it's spelled) were venomous. I am not disagreeing, just trying to raise my post count. LOl!
