    I thought at first it might be a cotton mouth.

    It is not a rattlesnake because there are no rattles. It is not a copperhead because the head is not shaped right. I have never heard of a spreading nator. What in the world is that????? It appears to be a banded watersnake or natrix. It certainly is a biggun and sure does not need to be around the house. It is non poisonous.

    Guys, come on...it's obvious. this is a Rattleheadedcoppermoccasin that is aparently miss colored because it is suffering from gonnasypherpaids. It does seem that the weedeater has cured it's ailments.
