Default Loking for fishing partner that knows how to run trolling motor.

I just got new trolling motor, and discovered that my hands don't fit the handle. Too much like shovel or post hole diggers. Thought I would post for the young ones to see. It was made back in the 20's in Atlanta,Ga, called Man-U TrollName: IMG_0114.jpg

Never seen anything like it. Pretty cool.

That would look nice on that wood hull boat. Keep it in the family, never sell it

The handle on the motor turns the prop? that looks a little too much like work to me too. Thank God my dad didn't have one of those when I was a kid...I would have one strong arm. LOL!

I have one of those also. It works great on my canoe, had it for years. It has 2 one way clutches, turns the prop both up and down stroke.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I read somewhere it is supposed to be equal to 17 lbs. of thrust. If it ain't got a seat and a motor, I don't have much use for it.
I don't think it was ever used. Something to hang up in the shop.
