    Default The spawn????

Has anyone noticed any spawning activity yet? I have not noticed any as of yet. If they are spwning they aren't in the same spots they were last year. This time last year they were getting a real good start. Just wondering whats going on around the state.

Observed none on lake Erling yet but feel like it could be happening and I have been looking in wrong places.

I've been catching them in staging depths, feeding in 6 to 8 of water. But egg sacs are really ripening and starting to get some dark males, won't be long.

The above average temps late this week should get them in the shallows !

Water temps only in the mid 50's here. Fish still deep for the most part. This warm weather forecasted should kick start the fish if water warms about 10 more degrees. Have noticed the males starting to darken some.
