    Lightbulb Midnight_F150's Boat Help

MN got a used SS boat recently. We are about to start turning this into the crappie fisherman's dream. But sadly we only have a few ideas on things to do to really make it live up to that idea. We plan on putting a new trolling motor, live well timer, and putting pressure switch activated led lights in all the storage compartments; but what next!?! That is where you guys come in. So after all your years of experience what are those items that you wish you had on your boat? I'm not writing the check for this one. Sorry MN :D

Well I see a CMC tilt & trim unit, 4 hi tech rod holder, new Minn Kota TM, really good fish finder with two pick ups & GPS. LED lighting inside,

That's a good start. That's about 3 times what the boat cost. Send me a PM.

Thanks WWF. I will pick up the check on this one, if you pick up the check for all those christmas decorations and lights next yr for your house. All jokes aside I did order a stay-alive livewell pump for it. Wannabe on the mississippi forum said they work great STAY-ALIVE LIVEWELL PUMP TIMERS by MC Design Im going to be picking up a livewell air pump from academy sports monday Cabela's: Marine Metal Products Power Bubbles Since I bought the boat I have add a Swivl-Eze Bolt-On Adjustable Transom Saver. Also some BoatBuckle retractable transom tie-down system, ive only used them twice but I like them alot. I got a good deal on them thanks to Wannabe. I will post some pictures monday. I need to do some fabrication work on the top of the rod box. I hope to order my minn kota terrova in the middle of jan(IM WAIT ON BILLY E TO BITE THE BULLET FIRST SO I KNOW WHAT SHAFT LEGNTH TO GET). Then when I get my taxes in I want to get a new fish finder, not sure which yet though. When I get stuff in my 2 best friends in the world WWF and dubs are going to help me install everything.

Oh I bit the bullet. Merry Christmas from me to me. 55/48 plenty big for my 15 foot Rebel. This is a good place to start. SI depth finder is next. I dont know which one to get. You are going to love the stick steering set up boat. Cant wait to meet you on the lake. Keep us updated on you project. Oh yea if I could get anything, it would be trailer lights that would work for 10 trips or 1000 miles.HAHA

He need's to hurry and get it rigged up so he can take us both out in it, lol. When are you going to turn your boat into a crappie fishers dream WWF?

I saw that right away in your other post this morning. How are you like it? Did you get the I pilot for it yet? Which model did you go with? That 48" shaft looks like the way to go. Is that mounted on a minn kota quick release? Hey billy you might try some led lights they cost. But the ones on my 16ft atv trailer are about 3.5 yrs old.

Hey midnight I got the 55thrust 48" shaft it has i-pilot and US2.. Even at 16 ft I think that will be plenty. Ive been playing with it for the last 2 days. I found out in the wind if you use a wind sock at slow speeds it works better in tracking mode. It is nice.It like Ronco, Set it and forget it!.I mounted it on quick release because some trips I make are long distance and it rides in the back of the tahoe better.I got the switch from hummingbird to go from front to back transducer. That works great.
