    Default Gold Creek 12/25/10

Went fishing at Gold creek today, got out on the water around 9:00 am, went with sorelipsnofish, really thought it was going to be a challenging day, it was that indeed, we caught 32 good crappie, we both would have limited out but we did not have a dip net with us and we lost several good fish trying to get them in the boat. The fish we lost would have filled our limits. The fish were sporatic at best you would catch five or six then you would have a long dry spell, then you would catch five or six more. I think we were just catching them as a school would move in then move out. Would post picture but don't really know how to post pictures from my Iphone. We had a good time and caught some really nice crappie to boot.

I see you wound up with a good mess of fish. Sometimes you have to work for 'em, and it looks like your presistance paid off. Congrats.

Great catch! I'm going to try them out tommorrow. Were you guys catching them deep? And were y'all jigging or had minnows working?

they were not that deep, caught them around the bank actually, caught them on jigs. Just basic colors, had to hunt for a color that that they wanted.
