    Hey Shimmy,

I've been fishing on Lake Conway for 20 years in a "Bass Hunter" 2 man boat. It's 8 feet long, pontoons and flotation. You might want to look at one of those too while you're looking. Mounted my hand controlled MK 30 lb. thrust on front transom and it works great. Don't know where you plan to use it, but that Bass Hunter is, in my opinion, about the best all-round plastic boat out there. Only weighs 87 pounds so it's easy for one person to load in the back of the truck. Next time you're at Lake Conway, stop in Bates Field and Stream in Mayflower and look at one. A new one is about $475 I think.

    Thanks Ski,

I had a 10ft plastic boat about a year ago, but it was too heavy for 1 person to load/unload. I'm borrowing a friends 8ft water scamp and it's light enough for me to handle. I'm thinking Conway & Peckerwood, and my 17ft boat for larger water.

Don't know about Peckerwood, but in my opinion the Bass Hunter is the way to go on Conway. Ninety percent or more of what you see out there on the lake will be Bass Hunters. Good luck finding one!

I have an extra I would part with. It is an 8ft water scamp. Since I co-own it I need to check with Dad but we have been talking about getting rid of it for a while since we dont need 2 of them.

Hey Shimmy, there is one in our local paper for sale. Don't say what length, but has two seats. It is in the Warren Ar newspaper. 150.00
