i think someone did hit you in the head with a hammer to think that. the u of a will always be a run of the mill football team. granted they will have a good team once in 4 blue moons and all you u of a fans will be in "hog heaven" so to speak thinking the football world is yours only to fall on your football face the next few years. the u of a doesn't and will never have the "draw" of the top notch players of the nation. you mostly get to pick from ark and even then some of the better players go elsewhere knowing they have a better chance to be on a winning team. every once in a while you get a "needle in the haystack player" and you think he is going to work magic so you will have a 10-0 or whatever number of games you play season. ain't gonna happen but once in 4 blue moons. you got a fair qb now but if your defense can't protect him he can't be at the top of his game. and petunia is a known nomad sometimes leaving in the middle of the season. if he gets a chance to go to a "real" school you can kiss him goodbye. it's just another fact that you have to live with. in reality all you have to live on is hope. hope that once in 4 blue moons things come together for the u of a. otherwise you'll always just be a normal run of the mill football team. so go on and drink all that kool aid and dream. who knows? this might be your year and if it is live it to the fullest because down deep you know it ain't gonna last. but like you said, you are a homer.
