New Crappie Club

Sounds great to me, good idea! Put me down for the baked beans. I amke them with hamburger meat and smoke sausage in them with plenty of onions and spices.
I will only be there for the first weekend so Saturday is great timing for me!

Jerry- I know this may be a dumb question, but do you have enough fish or do we plan on eating fresh fish? I can bring a few bags if you think we need it?

Your beans soung great - bring them on! We'll try to get up a mess of fresh crappie but I'll be sure to have some frozen fillets on hand for back-up.

I would be interested in being a member of your crappie fishing club. Need some info on Crappie Camp and all that stuff. Me and a buddy of mine from CO fished with Jerry last March and had a great time. I have got hooked on Crappie.

Hello Guys!! I'm the "New Kid on the Block" to the site and have been reading through numerous topics out here with my mouth just a watering.

I would love to participate in a "crappie club" for central Arkansas as well. Based on the conversations in the forum it appears the first gathering is going to attempt to occur at Crappie Camp....I'm going to make an attempt to participate in that event for a couple of days at least....Saturday may be tough for me due to my daughters BDay...So if I happen to not be able to make that initial meeting I wanted to let this audience know that I'm still interested. I'll continue to read and watch the message board to see what comes out of the meeting. However the way my schedule currently looks I may be able to be at crappie camp the first couple of days of the work week!!!

Darryl...after reading several of your comments and suggestions, input, etc. I have decided there is nobody better in my opinion to ask of this. Would you mind getting onto my thread about the NWA Crappie Club? My username is "minnowman"...I am seeking suggestions, advise, anything you can offer to help me lift something like this off the ground. What would appeal to those in my area...would I be invited to join your club in central arkansas? I can load up my Tahoe and head on down just about any weekend...? Let me know, I am a really excited and enthusiastic young fisherman.
