Little Maumelle Report
Water temperature 54 degrees 18" below the surface. Fished from I-430 bridge to half way between the River Valley Marina to Burnett's landing.
Caught two green carp and one little male White Crappie. No picture of the crappie, but I did take one of the green carp. She had a flaccid belly and I think she had just finished spawning.
This one surprised me as she hit in about 3' of water near some weeds off the main channel, same area as I caught the crappie. Hit a 1/4 jig with pank head and 2' white grub. She was hongry.

Differnt subject I know but, they are building a pedestrian bridge across the mouth of the Little Maumelle to the Two Rivers Point. It might perk up a good Summer time hole. I love to fish pilings in the Summer.

Yes, and they have blocked access to all the parking on the far side of the I-430 bridge. That means that all those wacky bikers and walkers are having to park at the boat ramp. Ugh. They have cleared out a small area to the left past the portajohn as you enter for additional non-trailer parking, but, as always, its a feeding frenzy for parking, especially with a trailer.
