Thread: Hurricane lake WMA

Which lake did you fish? I've heard a couple of good reports coming out of the creek.

Bell and the little pond north of it creek was a little swift a guy I work with fished it caught two one cat one crappie

ol wpa here e fan, have fished Hurricane,all the other lakes and creeks in the wma for years, made my first trip in last week, water still to high, and cold. I went to fish below the spillway at Whirl for catfish.

No luck but water was really to swift, just bide time until we have some warmer, drier weather (hopefully) and then things will perk up, many years the fishing doesn't get good in there until summer.

As usual we do seem to have a good crop of cottonmouths tho.
