    Default Plum bayou

Ok...was down at Plum Bayou...put in at the new GFC launch....keep 11 nice black crappie, 8 doresal fins, scattered spot pattern, generally darker fish and those AR river come up into the bayou crappie are some fighters!!! They don't just do the flop...they zip all kinda ways stretchin my line. Bounced a Char jig off cypress trees...they jumped on it on the fall. Bet it will be messed after all this rain though...

The best fishing holes are located around the England/Wright area, nice bayou with a clear channel in the middle and covered with cypress trees on both sides. Be careful right now if your new to it, the water level is low and muddy, easy to damage a motor or flip a boat on cypress knees right now. 2 guys were killed there last year when they ran a boat up on cypress stumps and drowned.
