I know we all on here do respect every one fishing or running a boat on the water and there are way to many Idoits that have boats and should not. Sorry to hear how rude some people are these days it is not just there I have been dealing with it here in the northwest part of the state to seems like people get cabin fever so bad they forget about the rest of us with smaller boats and motors my 25 horse will not keep up with the big bass boats but I am not paying the kind of money those boats cost to get to my crappie places besides the run to deep to crappie fish from. Besides everyone Knows crappie fisherman rule the water anyone can catch Green Crap as nimrod puts it not everyone can catch crappie

Hey Fetmo, I was out there Thursday and Friday afternoons and saw my fair share of aholes as well. I was back in the pool fishing Thursday evening and this young guy came underneath the bridge full throttle all the way back to the west end of the pool. He had about a 16 ft jon boat with a newer model Yamaha on it. To help you identify him even more so, he wasn't caucasion. I was yelling at him and whistling, yet he kept on. I saw him again on Friday to do the same thing. He came up to me at the dock when I was loading up to ask me what I was fishing with and I let him know that sign on the bridge that says "No Wake" meant not waves and idle and that he pissed several people off. I also let him know that it wouldn't take anything for someone to take a picture of him with their cell phone and give it to AGFC to get a nice ticket. But then again, I also had people drop anchor right on the hole I was casting to, cast across my line when they were only 5 feet away amongst other JA things. That's why I try to fish there only during the week, but that apparently is just as bad as the weekends. Seems to be worst than dealing with a bunch of JAs on public land duck hunting.

Same boat that had a big fella in the front? Wife and I were fishing at the bridge and they came blowing thru there. I gave them "the" look and my wife said just let it go. Normally keep a baitcaster with a 1oz spinnerbait on it for jetski's and such but wasnt expecting to need it up there.

yeah same guy blew us away too. we talked to them at the landing the big guy up front said that he had tore his botor motor up out there and that he was fishing with his brother today in his boat. they never even tried to slow down when they passed us friday. then we was drive back to the dock drive slow in my buddy 14X32 duracraft with a 9.9hp. it was our first trip out there and not now the lanes that good we were going slow and a guy in a stick steer duracraft came along side us slow and asked if we had any luck. then he drop the hammer on his 30hp. it made my buddy boat rock real good.

What ever happened to the old days, when nothing more than a 9.9 was allowed on Conway. Would'nt hurt my feelings if they made the whole creek from I-40 up the creek a no wake zone. Too many boats and too popular of an area, in a narrow area like that equals DANGER. I would hope the AGFC would consider this, maybe they could patrol this area and write some nice tickets to these people. With this tournament coming up this is something to be looked at also. I also think maybe a sign posted at the ramp (NO WAKES WHEN PASSING BOATS IN CREEK AND POND)by the AGFC would help.

Signs are usually useless when dealing with folks like that. That is with no enforcement to back it up. Sorta like having a guard dog with no teeth! LOL LOL

The fella with the stick steer came by us too. He did idle down when he went by. No wake from the launch up to the pond wouldnt hurt a thing. It is not that far.
