Default new to this fishing thing

i have always heard about people catfishing with chicken livers, so i was wondering if a crappie would eat livers as well? this being, that if the said crappie are not cooperating, i could go home and have liver and onions after a long day fishing...

The best catfish bait I've ever used is a 10-12 inch crappie. I run 3 or 4 flathead lines every spring in Lake Conway. Four or five 7/0 hooks per line and hang on. We catch a couple 40+lber's every year and several up to 25 or so. Been doing it for years like that. Crappie's are the only baits we'll use.

No. But if you see a guy with a Blue jump suit on and metal belt clippy thingy? Don't challenge him to a fishing contest for money....

What is the best chaw to chew while crappie fishing Beechnut, Levi Garret, or Redman. Or would a hand be better off just buying a swisher cigar and nawing on it..

Whitecotton you need a wirebasket hanging off the front of that flat to store your days take.

you gotta have a 48 quart cooler, no other size will work.. have to fill it with bud heavies, and one bag of ice.. drink 12 on the way to the lauch to make room for the fish.. leave at dark without any beer, but a cooler full of todays catch!!
