    Default pelicans

At certain times Millwood has large rafts of pelicans present. I don'y see how there can be enough bait fish to support all of them, they are so large.

had a pelican land on the water near me and my bro-in-law in our canoe on Harris Brake. That bird acted like it knew us from somewhere. Tried feeding it minnows from the bottom of the boat that were dead. It didn't want those. If I threw in a live minnow, it'd swallow it up. Pretty smart bird.
    I think I got one...

These birds can really hurt the fish population of smaller lakes. It is said they eat 4 pounds of fish per day.

Slabsntaters got it right...... They were on Conway bigtime before the ice. They are also on Old River Lake in Scott.
