    Default Plum Bayou tragedy

Im sure alot of yall heard about the drowning there on last sunday. I was in Mcswains that morning and talked to them while they were gettin bait. From what I understand there was only one PFD aboard, and the guy who didnt have one drowned. The story goes is he pushed off a tree and somehow the bow went under and water rushed in. Man guys that bayou is only 7 or 8 feet deep right now.Dont ever get too comfortable on the water. Anyway the point of this story is with fathers day here, everyone should be careful.Noone wants another family to feel the pain that his is right now. Go out now and have a safe and happy fathers day, oh yea catch some dang fish too.

I saw a clip on the news. It was awfully sad.

That's terrible news. I guess I usually feel safe...and have become somewhat complacent as well. Thanks for the reminder to keep a heads up, especially now that these waterways are so busy...
