trolling rigs

I havnt got trolling yet but I was wanting some info about the kind of baits/rigs that other people use and how they do it I have read how some but heavy weights on the bottom of the line to keep the presentation straight down and so on so I am looking for your input

Depending on where I mark fish I would use a 1/16 or a 1/32 oz jig. I then come up and tie off a small laser blade with a loop knot about 18 inches up from the jig. This gives me a tandem setup and doubles my luck and gives a bit of flash. I use the blade alone or tipped with a minnow
