And it will have to be after Christmas before I can finish repairing my old boat so it will float....

Well at 70 years old, and health not to good, I decided after my boat got stolen in Memphis that I didn't need to go in debt buying a new boat and all the fixing. I bought a OLD v bottom 14 ft. boat that is needing lot's of repair. I'm just going to fix it for one person to fish out of, and not worry about the rest.
I can go to the bank and borrow the money for a new rig, but at 70 years old with 5 years of financing I might not live to see it paid off...lol

usually the only fix, when I get the withdrawals, is to experience the thump. There have been a few occasions when I could pull some crappie out of the freezer and fry them up. Good luck with the boat projects.

OK....I didn't know about your boat being stolen. I have seen some of those old V bottoms fixed up pretty nice.
