Just like Hank Williams Jr sang:

"Now those big ol' beautiful wildcats
Are the kind that are hard to track
'Cause the joint is crawlin' with the other hunters
And the she-cat is doublin' back
Now is the time for patience don't fire on the first one
Don't waste your bullets on a little bitty baby
Get a full grown wo wo woman"

I live about as far west and still be in Pulaski county as you can be. The neighbors tell me of "screams" heard just a few years before I moved in that were associated with "panthers". I have been hunting in Montana and heard screams too. Makes you sleep with your thumb on the safety. Now I am confused. Is the topic pumas, panthers, or cougars? DP

I'm not sure, but I think I posted at one time in this thread about fleas and rugs. Who was the original poster? Maybe they will remember what this is about
Don, I've heard screams a few times in the woods at night. They usually occur right after I walk into a big spider web that I didn't see.
