Nope these are just the extra wts that aren't already on pre tied rigs. Additionally the way I tie my rigs I rarely loose my terminal tackle just a hook or so.

That weight would last me a decade. Good work JW. Where do you pick up led? Do you find free sources like wheel weights or do you purchase ingots?

Matt I lost your number resend it to me plz. I got my weight from an individual. The wheel weights have too much other crud in them and must be fluxed a lot to clean and make it pour easily. Roto metal is one of cheapest sources of lead. I did get some free lead but like I said you gotta flux it and clean it good.

What do you not do JW? That makes me want to start pouring some myself. If you don't mind me asking what is the cost savings. I have read somewhere around 80%.

Pretty cheap to do. I bought 50lbs lead for about a $1 a lb. I dabble in everything lol.

I have been pouring lead heads and sinkers for 20 years unless you are going to market them you do not save nothing I promise! !!!!! Time u buy a good pot, molds and lead and your time you can buy them cheaper than you can pour for your personal use! !!!!!!!

I enjoy doing all the stuff I do. It would be cheaper to buy fish to eat than go catch em too Jerry lol. $100 gas can buy a lot of fish along with rods, reels, etc. if you enjoy playing with stuff like I do then go for it. I had my pot given to me and some lead. I bought more lead and hooks and a few molds. The nice thing is it gives you some thing to do when you aren't fishing. If you just wanted to pour a few then jerry is right. You can buy 100 or better off eBay for $20 or so. I get satisfaction out of tying my own stuff, painting my own baits, and pouring my own jigs. If you want to try and pour some bring some lead over and use my pot once and see if you like it.
