As smart as you are, you could think of a way for us fat guys to cut wood sitting down. I can't breathe when I bend over either. Sometimes I get a free "high". That is dangerous on my property. I could start rolling and end up in the pond. DP

Yes, it has crossed my mind to cut wood sitting down, but lacking in lumber jack skills causes me often needing to run for my life. Only thing worse than a thermocline waste deep is to be over weight, sitting cross legged on the ground, with a falling tree headed your direction. Maybe a fellow could find some kind of surplus ejection seat and rig it up for lumberjacking while sitting down...hmmm??? Now just to figure out how to get it to shoot you off sideways instead of straight up. Either way, I think you'll still end up in that pond

I can't even sit cross legged. When I am working on saplings, I am laying down. I got chigger bites in some disgusting places. Cutting up fallen logs gives me a fit. DP
