I'll keep you and Carol in my prayers, Randell. Never had a kidney stone, and don't want one! Had back problems though, and my advice is don't push too soon. Let it heal, if you can. Fish will still be there!
Had 2 health problems at one time. Friday a week ago, I hurt my back and prior to that, I had symptoms of a kidney stone. I have a bunch of stones, so I usually try to tough it out without going to the doc unless I'm really bad. Friday night was terrible so Saturday I went to the doc and he diagnosed no kidney stone and a back strain. He put me on pain killers and muscle relaxers which didn't seem to help much at all. I was doing ok by tuesday, but tuesday night, I re injured my back and was hurting again. Glad it was a holiday week cause it gave me a chance to lay up and take care of my back. Yesterday I finally passed the kidney stone that "I didn't have", and today the back is feeling much better. Just a little afraid to do anything because I don't want to hurt the back again. Ready to hit the water, but will probably hold off till next week. Thank the Good Lord for some relief.

RCC, several years ago I had some bad pain in my lower back, finally went to a doctor, and he said it was a broken rib from playing golf, go figure. I am glad your pain is better.
Yep the back can be a pain for sure!! Hope it gets better, resting it is as good a way for it to get better as it is. In time you learn when you are done and you don't push it so bad that you pay for it the next day, hurt mine in a car wreck when I was 15 or so and have to be careful or I end up laying a round a few days. Good luck and take care of it.

I'd take the back ache over the kidney stones any day!! I used to have them quite often, then I changed my diet and they have ceased to exist. I've been down in the floor crying from the stones!
Hope all stays well and the back gets better!
Passing kidney stones HURT! I know from experience. Hope you do not get anymore!
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Feel like a brand new man today. Got the stone in a bag and it's pinhead size. I'da guessed it was the size of a bowling ball while it was taking its slow easy time through my system. WHEW!
