There is an awesome deal on the red boat if anyone is interested. Carol and I had decided when we first started looking that we weren't going to buy red, so when I ran across the add for this boat, I noticed something in the back ground. If anyone wants "GPS coordinates" to the red one, I'll be happy to supply by pm. Here is the one that we're kinda looking at.

RCC -- I know how you feel. My boys and I looked at boats for over a year before I finally bought one this year. I was working from the theory that this was going to be a one-time purchase that would last me for the rest of my life -- or at least for a good portion of it. I kept weighing the options that I wanted against purchase price. In the end purchase price won out. I got most of what I wanted in a left over 2011 boat (still new) and I got a great deal on the price. I am VERY satisfied with my boat! I plan to still be fishing out of it 15-20 years from now.
    Is winter over yet?

My biggest question is "will this boat make me catch more fish"? If it does make me catch more fish, where am I to put these fish, since my freezer is now full of chicken because my fish catching has been so bad. If I still can't catch a fish, would someone be willing to trade me chicken for a really nice boat? Many, many questions need to be answered before a person buys a boat.

I like your boat Tony. It is big enough that it would be fine on big water, and not so big that a person wouldn't worry about putting it on smaller water as well. It looks like you and the family have enjoyed it. I hope I can find something that fits Carol and I, and our fishing style.

I've got to figure out if he actually needs money for the rig first. I'm surviving pretty well on the looking at a boat stage. I don't know how I'm gonna make out on the paying for the boat stage.

I asked the dealer if this boat was the Meatgetter edition. He said it was very similar to the Meatgetter edition, but didn't go into detail. As I am putting my "sales, sweet talk" on Carol. I explained to her that "this is the Meatgetter edition and you know how he catches". She explained to me "No, I'm sure at best, this is only SIMILAR to the Meatgetter edition cause the Meatgetter edition has a motor". I knew there had to be a hitch at that price, and I suppose no motor was the small detail I had overlooked. I offered to buy her a new paddle to propel us up and down the lake, but that was a no go. It was a nice boat.
