    I do things like TRUE loosers do... I just don't replace the tip, I just continue fishing, broken pole and all. I am too cheap to do anything like run to Wally World for glue or stuff like that. When you live in the sticks places like that are just too far. Its time you could spend on the water not catching fish.

    No need to fix it. When your jig gets hung and you stick your jig pole down there to unhang the jig, if you are quick, that extra 4" of jig pole that protrudes from where the tip was is an excellent spear. You can some times spear a fish with it although you are more likely to stick it in a stump and loose the whole section.

    For those of you that don't know what to do with those broken rod tips, keep a spare in your boat to put a whuppin on snakes. One good lick between the eyes and ole no shoulders will roll over for ya.
