Colorado River We are looking at property down around Yuma and we see lots of water and just wondering about the Colorado river . smallmouth bass also Crappie is the crappie fishing any good.

not much crappie talk from down there. I caught a few small ones at fishers landing years back. mostly large mouth fishing down there. looks like good habitat for crappie but nobody's talking.
i dont know about there , i think you need to come back to Texas

I have a place in Yuma, the crappie are hard to come by, red ear are the panfish of choice. Lots of bassfishing, smallmouth and largemouth.
It would be hard to live there rear around, I live in San Diego, spend winters ,fall, and spring fishing and hunting.
It's way to hot for me in the summer. Dry heat--- it's still 120 .
I like 75 in San Diego and saltwater fish in summer.
