Filled out the whole thing every part and then it said my message was too short and I should add one characters, but I added words and same thing so I give up.

Well I am coming back to add a couple things and a picture. First with Bob gone now, (May God Rest His Soul) I have a new green light that is the Brightest l have ever seen and will put a light ring about 45' to 50' diameter around your boat and this is even if you drop it down 10' to 12' in the water. The picture I will leave below is from a different light, but shows the baitfish well. The new light is from Loomisled.com and this thing is built great and they use Cree LED lights which are the best and brightest in the world. I have the 30 LED Drop Light.

Also remember to take a ThermaCell for the bugs just in case there is not enough wind to keep them away. I also use a jig on bottom for weight and bait, usually 1/8 or 1/4 oz and then a hook about 12" to 18" above for your minnow. Works great for me. You never know when the crappie will bite and they will in their own time. I like to set up on the edge of a creek or even across a creek where fish are near by.

Cause you didn't have any words outside of the quote.

Good advice given so far. Some way to see bites is a must, so either white spray paint, glow sticks/paint, or just holding the rod.

Keep bugs away from you by keeping out of the lights. The higher up the lights are the higher up the bugs will be.
