Want to thank CANEPOLE for the inspiration and help in building this project.
Will reduce the amount of voltage converters, pumps, wires, air hoses that I normally carry when using minnows.
THANKS AGAIN Tom.
My pleasure as always.
I set mine to 1.65V. My motor draws 33ma on high speed and 31ma on low speed. Not much of a savings in battery power (less than 10%). The slow speed is accomplished by switching in a germanium diode in series with the battery power to the motor. The germanium provides about a .33V drop to the applied voltage.
I don't usually turn the pump on til the ice melts though.
Just a little tech info.
