What's up Doc....it's not gonna be the same without you in the Kitty class at the tourney!
For those that don't know...the Salvation Army fishing Tourney is Saturday at CJ.

Good chance to help a worthy cause...
After Daniel and I went out...the Crappie ran me out of "Electric Chicken" so I had to make up a few more of the regular swimmers and I made more of the Z Man grubZ and slim swimZ since I've been giving some to friends to try.

Hey Brent ... hopefuly new site, same insite
I like the new location! Good to see you all here! Freedom of speech alive and well? LOL! (cough) "swimbaits" Wait for it.... nothing? (crickets) Yep! LOL!
Yak
I used to buy those canned crickets that were advertised on the fishing shows...they actually did pretty well during certain times of the year...but, I have never regretted learning how to fish with artificials...I enjoy the challenge of faking out a fish by using different techniques/systems, to make that lump of plastic look like someone they'll either eat or react to....to do that you have to understand the fish, the lake, patterns, etc...you have to experiment, continually learn, and practice... to me, it's getting to the essence of fishing!
I make fishing harder than it really is, but that's what I thrive on and it has paid off.
Some species though, you almost have to use live or fresh bait...I'm not against any way...as long as you're having fun!
