Have to wonder how the rubble piles ("CC"s) are doing ? They should be crawling with craws...(pardon the pun )

I'll tell you Lowell...I have fished them both several times and nothing for me!

Also for those Chatterbait fans....Z-Man has some nice ones....and if you like building your own stuff, you can buy blades and jigs from a couple tackle places to make custom ones!

It has come to pass...about half of Ohio's lakes have algae or e-coli warnings for the July 4th holiday...very sad...if the weather gets hot, the algae blooms will be terrible...more rain and flooding, will equal more e-coli from sewage.

I'll be able to get out next week and then I'm done until school starts....Football practice starts next week and I have Dale the rest of summer...he and his buddies have no desire to fish...they are swimming, running, playing football, war games, going to the Champion City Kings games, running RC cars and drones...they have no need for relaxation like I do!

    Good Fishing!

I saw on the news down here last night that Cowan, Acton & Caesars Creek had warnings. With all this rain we're having I'm surprised it's not worse.

Yep, CC has the highest level of e-coli in the State...mostly from sewage runoff ....you could understand this from a third world country, but not from a "civilized society" like ourselves.

All it will take is a few weeks of high heat and it will be worse...best case scenario, is we continue with a cool summer.

We were on CC yesterday morning and never saw a skier or jet until 11ish. Guess the fish partied to much the night before cause the fishing was SS--LL--OO--WW!

Have new Lowrance Elite 5 hdi with chirp technology mounted and ready to go for Friday morning. So if you see a Taho ski/fish that looks like it's lost and going around in circles it's just me trying to figure it out and giving the fish a good laugh !!!!!!!!!
May all the fish tales you catch be longer than the ones you tell !

unfortunately the problem isn't only happening in Ohio, it happens everywhere. It's not helping that we're having rainfall averages in some areas running as much as 50% more than previous record years so it's not too surprising some systems are just overloaded. Hopefully the temps will stay on the cool side this year.

Heading to the lake right now. Going to try fishing for some eyes and some keeper crappie. Anyone else going to be there?
