Time? depending on moon phase and current but our best times have been the first three hours after dark or after they stop pulling alot of current

Depths? 18'-30' somewhere on a drop

Stripers? Can't keep them off in some lakes
Other equipment - I like a 10'-12' rod because we are normally fishing 8'-12' deep. These rods make it easy to get back to the same depth.

Who is going to start with.................

Tip#1

Find fish and set-up close to them instead of setting up and trying to get the fish to come to you. If fish are comfortable in an area, they will be easier to catch.

Some other thoughts above in red and green. I am no expert by know means but I am working on it.

Cause you didn't have any words outside of the quote.

Good advice given so far. Some way to see bites is a must, so either white spray paint, glow sticks/paint, or just holding the rod.

Keep bugs away from you by keeping out of the lights. The higher up the lights are the higher up the bugs will be.

Tip#3
All colors lights if intense enough will work.
Example: White will work if intense enough.
The following colors have been proven by
people with degrees.

The preferred color for freshwater is Green
The referred color for salt water is Blue

I'm a believer.

Been on trips with just a white light and got good results of attracting baitfish.
Used same white light with a green light on opposite side of boat and the green light brought in 4x the baitfish.

Tip #4

Get out of the bed at 4am and be on your favorite lake fishing by 5:30. Use a jig that has chartreuseand in it. At night wear mosquito repellant and use Bob#1's fishing light to attract baitfish. Again use a chartreuseand jig to limit out.

I like to night fish on the moon cycle provided in the old farmers almanac.
I've been using two blue 100W 12vdc florescent lights hung over the side of the boat for the past year or so. I can't submerge them, so they haven't provided great results, I must add.
I mainly fish the same bridge pilings in a creek channel in 32 feet of water. There are some trees between the pilings and big rocks that line the bank on both ends of the bridge. When the water is running I have caught the limit many time both day and night under this bridge.
I just received two of the green reel lites yesterday. I'm taking the grandson out this coming Saturday night to give the new lights a try. I normally use live bait but it's been so hot there may not be any available, we'll see.

P.S. Hey Bob, The lights look real good. I can't wait to try them. I'll be ordering a pair of the 75 bulb, soon.
