    Default Grandson fishing

i have been out of town and not been abel to post this until now. I had promised my grand son we would go fishing back about the first of the month and once i told him about it there was no turning back. We had some heavy rains and the Glaize arm was as muddy as i though it would be but we lanched at PB1 and fish hard till lunch time when i anchored the boat out of the wind and we had our lunch. he finally caught a small white bass and a
14" largmouth. i managed two short crappie. we loaded the boat about 2:30 and started for home, as we drove out of the park Zachery said Paw Paw this has been one of the best days of my life. That made it all worth every second, and better than any limit of fish i ever caught.

Way to go, Paw Paw. Just wait till you get him on a bunch. Those smiles and expressions are priceless and the memories for both of you will last a lifetime.

Nice story! I too LOVE to catch limits (though i rarely do), but enjoy myself even more when I get the opportunity to take someone out that doesn't fish much or is younger, or both and have them get some fish in the boat.

Sounds like a great day Paw Paw :-)

Great job! I learned last weekend that a child's or grandchild's perception of a fish trip may not coincide with our perception. It is not all about catching fish but the spending time with us that is important to them.

AWESOME JOB Paw Paw. That's a good one for sure.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

Nothing better than having grandkids in the boat - he will always remember it.

    Nice job!!

When he gets to be your age, he'll still remember that day and those fish (only the 14" bass'll be a 24" ten-pounder!) :D

    Congrats.
Teach your kids to hunt and fish and you won't have to hunt for your kids !!
