Wow, great pictures. A little more wavy and a little colder than Arkansas, but a great place to fish. How did you like the Great White North?
Those fly in fishing trips are fun too. All desolate and remote. The only place to bathe is in the lake, in the freezing lake. Not a single sole for miles and miles. Fish that have never seen a lure. Awesome.
I know one striper guide who owns a boat, all the tackle, etc. Whenever he needs a break, he goes bank fishing for stipers below a dam. He says he doesn't have to worry about gas, launching, etc., and the fishing is pretty good from this spot. I have seen 30 pounders caught there from the bank this year, he says he's caught them 45+ pounds there, also smallmouths on striper baits up to 7 pounds. Interesting.
Nice trip and fish Jerry thanks for sharing, they really do have some nice sized crappie up that far north. CP
